Bringing Families Together in the U.S.

Wagner Immigration helps U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents bring their family members to the United States. We handle the full range of family-based immigration petitions, including:

  • K-1 Fiancé(e) Visas — for U.S. citizens bringing a fiancé(e) to the U.S. for marriage
  • CR-1 / IR-1 Spousal Visas — for U.S. citizens petitioning for a spouse abroad
  • IR-2 Child Visas — for children of U.S. citizens
  • IR-5 Parent Visas — for parents of adult U.S. citizens
Every case is handled personally by Attorney Benjamin K. Wagner from initial filing through consular processing. For clients with family in Indonesia, we offer local support with document gathering and coordination in Bahasa Indonesia.

NAVIGATING CONSULAR PROCESSING AT U.S. EMBASSIES

After USCIS approves your immigration petition, your case moves to the National Visa Center and then to a U.S. Embassy or Consulate for consular processing. This stage has its own requirements — document submission, fee payments, medical examinations, and a consular interview — and the process varies by embassy. Wagner Immigration guides clients through every phase of consular processing, including:

  • NVC document preparation — completing DS-260 immigrant visa applications, gathering civil documents, and submitting financial evidence
  • Indonesian document coordination — navigating the legalization and translation of Indonesian civil records, including KTP, Kartu Keluarga, birth certificates, marriage certificates, and divorce decrees
  • Interview preparation — reviewing what to expect at your consular interview, organizing your document package, and identifying potential issues before they become problems
  • Addressing complications — cases involving prior visa denials, waiver requirements, stepchildren, or extended separations between petitioner and beneficiary

For clients processing through the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, we offer local support with Indonesian document requirements and coordination in Bahasa Indonesia.

Every embassy operates on its own timeline and practices. Having an attorney who understands the process — and who has specific experience with cases involving Indonesian beneficiaries — helps you put your strongest case forward.

STUDY IN THE UNITED STATES

Wagner Immigration assists students and exchange visitors with the legal requirements of studying in the U.S., including F-1 student visas and J-1 exchange visitor visas. Our immigration services for students include:

  • Visa eligibility assessment — evaluating your situation and advising on the appropriate visa category
  • Application guidance — navigating the visa application process, including DS-160 preparation and consular interview preparation
  • SEVIS compliance — understanding your obligations under the Student and Exchange Visitor Program
  • Status issues — addressing complications such as visa denials, changes of status, extensions of stay, or reinstatement after a status violation

VISIT AMERICA

Wagner Immigration assists Indonesian nationals and other travelers with B-1 business visitor and B-2 tourist visa applications for travel to the United States. Our services include:

  • Visa application preparation — completing the DS-160 application and assembling supporting documentation
  • Interview preparation — thorough preparation for your consular interview, including a review of common questions, guidance on how to present your case, and a personally prepared document file organized for you to bring to your interview
  • Prior denial assistance — if you have been denied a U.S. visa in the past, we can assess your situation and advise on how to strengthen a new application

We are selective about the cases we accept. Before taking on a B-1 or B-2 matter, Attorney Wagner personally reviews your situation to assess whether we can add meaningful value to your application. This allows us to give each client focused, individualized attention. Tourist visa services are offered on a flat-fee basis.

For clients in Indonesia, we offer local support with document preparation, interview coaching, and communication in Bahasa Indonesia.
